Dial-Tone v1 is the Joe of the Week. I remember having him as a kid. I still have his backpack and gun, but no original figure. I purchased this figure at the local toy shop. He is not usually hard to find, however you have to pay attention to his silver gear. Even though his pack has a detachable mic it is also rarely lost or broken.
He is a well designed figure. His green, black, and tan colors make him suitable for any mission and he blends in with most other Joes. The other good thing is that his tech is a little cutting edge without being just way over the top. If you wanted to make him look a little more contemporary swap his weapon and backpack for v1 Falcon.
