Adeptus Custodes Vertus Praetors of the Emissaries Imperatus

Completed 3 Vertus Praetors of the Emissaries Imperatus, “if that name is not proprietary I dont know what is”. I am using them as Shield Captains in my Guard/Custodes/Assassins list. These guys give my static gun line some needed movement and distraction. They are tough and hit hard. They can deal with hoards with their shooting and can take out most elites in close combat. They do have issues with Knights and other high toughness vehicles. If used properly that can give your opponent a bad day…know all I have to do is learn to use them correctly.

The models themselves are awesome. They are the standard quality that you come to expect from GW. The only issue I found during assembly are the lance arms shoulder pads can use some green stuff to help them fit right. Other than that they went together very nicely. I chose to paint them in the Emissaries Imperatus colors, because it was easy to paint and fluff of that Shield Host made sense for what I was going to use them for.
